Playschool

Our Playschool program for 3 year olds was the first of its kind in the ACT and serves to assist children on their first step towards independence. Playschool provides a caring safe environment where your child can develop valuable social skills and be introduced to group learning. The transition into the formal school system is generally a smooth and exciting one for a child that has gained independence and confidence while at Playschool.

Licensed through the Dept of Disability, housing and community services, playschool is devised and run by qualified teachers. The sessions have a structured format including puzzle play, story time, art and craft activities, music, snack time and outdoor play. Sessions run for 2 1/2 or 4 hours.

At Noah's Ark we are committed to a policy of inclusion. Each of our programs provides opportunities for all children, regardless of cultural difference or ability. We recognise the value of diversity within our community and encourage acceptance of the differences to foster a sense of belonging in every individual. Support is available for children with special needs to facilitate participation.
