About
Us
Noah's Ark
Resource Centre was established in 1973 as a Toy Library
for disabled children and was dedicated to supporting
families with children with disabilities, particularly
by lending equipment that would assist in their therapy.
Today Noah's Ark is more broadly based and caters for
the needs of families with young children, while retaining
its focus on children with additional needs.
Mission
Statement
Our Mission
is to improve early childhood outcomes for families
in the ACT and surrounding regions.
We seek to support the development of all children inclusively
and to ensure equity of access to appropriate resources.
Our
Staff
Our staff
come from a variety of backgrounds including children's
services, teaching, special education and disability
support. All
staff at Noah's Ark are committed to the services we
provide and will gladly help you with any concerns or
questions you may have. Please feel free to contact
us at anytime during opening hours.
Funding
Noah's Ark
is a not-for-profit community based organisation and
we rely on goverment funding and generous donations
from philanthropic entities to remain financially viable.
Over time it has become necessary to charge a small
fee for some of our programs in order for them to become
self sustaining.
